USAID introduced the MOODLE training management system (LMS)

The deputy of the General Director of the Kosovo Institute for Public Administration (IKAP), Mrs. Lule Isufi, hosted the Acting Director of the USAID Project “Integrity of Kosovo Municipalities” Mr. Stephen Carpenter with Associate.

The purpose of the meeting was to present the MOODLE training management system (LMS).

Present at the meeting were the Acting Director of the USAID Project “Integrity of Kosovo Municipalities”, Mr. Stephen Carpenter from USAID with two representatives, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mr. Bardhyl Dobra and IKAP staff.

Ms. Isufi thanked Mr. Stephen Carpenter about the willingness to support IKAP said that “the creation of the MOODLE Platform (LMS) for training management would facilitate and improve the learning experience of civil servants in state institutions. This Platform would provide a host of tools that enable institutions to create, manage and deliver training in an easy-to-use virtual environment, making it accessible to both trainers and trainees, regardless of their technical experience”.

Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mr. Bardhyl Dobra who thanked Mr. Stephen Carpenter for the visit and for the continued support of IKAP from USAID.

Mr. Dobra expressed the readiness of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to support IKAP for this activity, but also for all the changes that will be made in improving the services provided by IKAP.

IKAP the trainings it is organizing will gradually be digitized, therefore the MOODLE Platform (LMS) will support a wide range in this direction, including the creation of training content, exercises, tasks, quizzes/tests, discussions and collaboration tools between participants, emphasized, among others, the Deputy General Director of IKAP.

Acting Director of the USAID Project “Integrity of Kosovo Municipalities” Mr. Stephen Carpenter, reconfirmed the support and has expressed his willingness to help IKAP through this project in raising its training capacities, its digitalization, but also in other spheres, since this project is flexible and creates many opportunities to help IKAP- in.
