The Director General of KIPA has the power, under the Law, to perform the following:
- general administration and management of KIPA;
- accurate, impartial and professional guidance and advice on matters relating to the duties and responsibilities of KIPA;
- issuing decisions and guidelines regarding the functioning of KIPA;
- managing resources and implementing a quality management system.
The Director General of KIPA shall, no later than 01 March of each calendar year, submit a report to the Minister detailing the achievement of results during the previous year.
