Statistical Analysis and Interpretation (SPSS)

Statistical Analysis and Interpretation (SPSS)

SPSS is a software program used for statistical analysis. Training is conducted based on best practices and the trainer’s research experience. The training will provide participants with knowledge related to research and development tools in order to make the data ready for analysis through SPSS applications that will be kept in interactive mode. Then in this training will be presented the ways in which statistical analysis is done in SPSS where data can be taken from almost any type of file (data from other software) and will be used to create reports, lists, and parts of distribution trends, descriptive statistics and complex statistical analysis. The ways in which SPSS makes statistical analysis more accessible and user-friendly so that the use of each menu and the selection of the dialog window make it possible to perform complex analyzes without forming a single line of command syntax.

Objectives

At the end of the training, participants will be able to carry out valuable research based on scientific data; distinguish between quantitative research and qualitative research; make the sample selection; calculate the rate of valid responses; define questions with closed or open answers; depending on the need of the research to code the variables; identify exceptional cases; perform statistical analyzes such as descriptive ones; ch-test; the frequency; export results and comment on research results. In addition, the participants will actively create the questionnaire and define the variables and finally perform the analyzes with the SPSS program.
