Deputy The General Director of the Institute for Public Administration Ms. Lule Isufi, received the Head of the Office of UN Women Kosovo in a meeting, Mrs. Vlora Nushi with associates dated October 30, 2023, the staff of IKAP and the Department for the Management of Public Officials were present at the meeting.

The meeting discussed the Gender Equality Facility (GEF), which was created to support Kosovo to ensure that through the EU membership process, gender equality will be included in all sectors and the equality mechanism will be strengthened. gender.

Overall, the contribution of the project is expected to improve the fulfillment of gender equality policies, increase the capacity to effectively absorb the EU provisions on gender equality and provide an opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experience between the countries of the Western Balkans and with EU member states;

In accordance with the Kosovo Program for Gender Equality 2020-2024, and contributing to several objectives of the “EU Institutional and Strategic Objectives” of GAP III/Gender Action Plan, the final goal of implementation is to “Support the Government of Kosovo in improving the transposition of the EU acquis on Gender Equality, resulting in positive socio-economic development results for women and men, girls and boys in Kosovo. The project will contribute to the overall goal by achieving the specific objective “The Government of Kosovo at the central and local level increasingly complies with the global norms and standards of gender equality and women’s empowerment and implements the EU acquis on Gender Equality”. both parties agreed to cooperate for the realization of the above-mentioned project and component.
