Today, November 7, 2023, the Kosovo Institute for Public Administration and representatives from the British Embassy held a joint meeting, at the request of representatives from the Embassy, Mr. The director of IKAP, Ms. Lule Isufi, welcomed Ms. Lorna Simmons, Program Leader, Economy and Good Governance, and Mr. Agim Maraj Policy Development Officer – Good Governance and Anti-Corruption.
The meeting had an informative character regarding the possibilities of supporting IKAP in restructuring, the development of trainings in the areas that IKAP needs support, the development of TpT, trainings in the most important areas and many other developments that will take place at the Institute for Public Administration , discussed the potential offered by the project of the British Embassy, which provides assistance to IKAP and which also includes the gender equality component. The project is expected to start in April 2024.
From Ms. Simmons emphasized the possibility of supporting IKAP during the restructuring process of the Institute, including the component of gender equality and digitalization, an area in which the Project will be able to support IKAP.
Also, the areas where there will be changes, Mrs. Isufi informs the representatives about the changes that IKAP will make, the areas where there will be changes starting from legislation, curriculum design and new topics that will be included for the advancement and raising of quality of trainings, both parties agreed to continue cooperation and during the development of the processes to see more clearly the areas where investment will be made.
