On October 28, within the framework of the bilateral agreement with the Ministry of Interior of Kosovo and in cooperation with the Kosovar Institute of Public Administration, represented by the General Directorate of Administration and Civil Service (DGAFP), they held a lecture in front of about a hundred civil servants at the central level and local related to issues of professional equality.
Situations regarding salary differences and career developments between women and men, equal access to professions and professional responsibilities, support for the period of pregnancy and parenthood or consideration of balance time of life, prevention and the fight against sexual and gender-based violence were topics elaborated in detail during the presentations, but also calls for strengthening equality policies launched since the framework agreement on professional equality of 2018.
Thus, under the direction of the new Minister of Civil Service, the simplification and transformation of public action Mr. Guillaume Kasbarian, France’s ambition is to deepen the coordination of equality policies between the three public functions (state, territorial and hospital). The professional equality report expected in two weeks will certainly be an opportunity to launch this important institutional project in #France.
