KRPP and IKAP certified 43 officials at the basic professional level for procurement

The Regulatory Commission of Public Procurement (KRPP) in cooperation with the Kosovo Institute for Public Administration (IKAP) with a simple ceremony have made the distribution of basic professional certificates for procurement (2023 -2025).

On behalf of KRPP, this ceremony was greeted by the board member Mrs. Spahija-Gjikolli, who addressed the participants:

“Today we have gathered to crown your achievement. This journey that begins in November 2022, for me as a new member of the KRPP board was not so easy, considering that it was the first time I encountered such an activity but with the help of the Chairman Mr. Vishaj, board member Mr. Sahiti, the staff of KRPP and in particular the cooperation with IKAP, we are today together marking another success”.

Among other things, she showed the progress of this journey, where 63% of participating officials have successfully managed to pass the test to be certified at the basic professional level for procurement.

Congratulating all the officials already certified, she said:

“I strongly believe in you, I believe that you will be a strong pillar to fight the shortcomings and to strengthen the good of procurement, always in harmony with the implementation of the law and regulations in force, in accordance with the principles of procurement”. /em>

This ceremony was greeted by the deputy. The director of IKAP, Mr. Haxhijaj, who congratulates the certified officials, saying that they already have the right to sign contracts, but behind this signature is also the responsibility that they must have. Also, among other things, he added that this year, the organization and the entire process of training up to certification makes a difference compared to previous years.

The training was opened and closed by the official of the Department of Training and Integration in KRPP, Mrs. Dafina Xhemajli.
