Ethics and Integrity Training in the Civil Service

Ethics and Integrity Training in the Civil Service U.D. General Director at the Institute for Public Administration, Mrs. Lule Isufi and colleagues hosted today the representatives from the Human Resources Unit/MIB.
The focus of the meeting was the continuation of the inter-institutional cooperation for the training, ‘Ethics and Integrity in the Civil Service’, the training is planning according to the Integrity Plan approved by Government dated January 26, 2024.

The training ‘Ethics and Integrity in the Civil Service’ is the foundation of a successful and reliable administration. This training provides in-depth knowledge of the rules, laws and ethical principles that govern the behavior and activity of civil servants. Focusing on the values ​​of transparency, honesty and responsibility, the training of civil servants fosters a work environment that promotes integrity and the application of ethical standards at every level.

IKAP, in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, plans to make a training plan in the shortest possible time, where during 2024 it is expected to train about 320 civil servants.
Ethics and integrity training is more that an investment in the development of professional skills is an investment in rebuilding citizens’ trust in their administration. Through this training, civil servants build knowledge and skills to face ethical challenges in everyday life, making right decisions and acting in accordance with values ​​and principles of integrity.

At the end of the day, a strong administration is one that complies with ethical norms and works for the public good. Training for ethics and integrity in the civil service promotes a responsible and conscientious culture, creating clear paths for career development and professional advancement of employees, while also influencing the improvement of the image of the administration in the eyes of citizens”.
