The local administration is an important pillar of the operation of the municipalities, which provides direct daily services for the needs and demands of the citizens of Kosovo. The volume of services offered by the municipal administration as a result of the citizens’ requests for these services is continuously increasing. Therefore, the municipality is the main gate for each of its citizens. A stable, efficient and responsible administration would be able to cope with the demands coming from the local level and the central level, as well as from citizens and civil society, and would improve the quality of its services only with a prepared framework, professional and coherent and trained.
IKAP, through the field of training for Municipal Affairs, offers training modules that help increase professionalism, strengthen professional, leadership and management skills to provide services according to standards and that will be able to respond to the transparent system of decentralization of delivery of services at the local level.
As a result of these professional trainings in accordance with the requirements and changes occurring in the primary and secondary legislation, and the preparation of local administration officials, we will have a higher productivity and performance of the work and management of the local administration.
Participants in trainings from the local level can be all the managers, the staff expected to raise and advance the professional skills and all those interested who have the will to develop the skills for work and professional career.
