The deputy of the general director, Mrs. Lule Isufi with an associate hosted a representative meeting from the European Institute for Public Administration EIPA, Mr. Juan Diego Ramírez-Cárdenas Díaz, and Mrs. Catherine Warren.
Ms. Isufi thanked Mr. Juan Diego Ramírez-Cárdenas Díaz for the visit to IKAP where, among other things, he assessed that mutual cooperation is very important for improving learning in the field of training based on the experience of EIPA. Mrs. Isufi informed the representatives from EIPA about the processes that IKAP is going through, such as the digitalization of the trainings that it is organizing, the restructuring and the drafting of bylaws.
Juan Diego Ramírez-Cárdenas Díaz confirms that EIPA is interested in continuing the support for IKAP, where it will help in raising training capacities, digitization, but also in other areas as many opportunities to help IKAP during the transition phase. Training has been one of the main pillars of EIPA’s work for decades. Our institute specializes in short courses that provide busy public sector professionals with a concise and practice-oriented understanding of EU policy and legal issues, knowledge of the wider European context and perspectives of other actors. Our participants gain valuable tools and knowledge that they can use in their daily work.
Our training offer 2023 provides a list of possible EIPA courses this year. This list presents the topics on which EIPA can offer expertise, as well as the main learning benefits of courses in several areas.
Among other things, cooperation plans for the following years and the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding between EIPA and IKAP were discussed.
IKAP will analyze the training needs and send them to EIPA in the areas where there is a need until the transformation phase is completed.
